Crowley's Ridge College
The Crowley’s Ridge College softball program offers female students the opportunity to continue their competitive athletic interests at the intercollegiate level. A goal of the program is to help students develop academically, socially, spiritually, and athletically.
Coach Jordan Malone was named head coach in 2015. She graduated from CRC in May 2015 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. During her time as a student she played softball for the Pioneers for 2 years and played Basketball for all 4 years.
CRC Softball Mission
The Lady Pioneer softball program supports the mission of Crowley’s Ridge College by providing the opportunity for students to grow academically, spiritually, socially, and physically.
Head Coach Jordan Malone’s approach to the game is to focus on fundamentals, attitude, and conditioning. She states, “It is my greatest passion to provide what has been provided to me, to teach what I am fortunate to have been taught, and to help accomplish what I have accomplished by using my abilities to help my players reach theirs.” Her coaching philosophy is built from Hebrews 11:1 “Now Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we cannot see.” She believes that having faith in your abilities is what gets you to the top even if you are uncertain of the road you are traveling.
Lady Pioneer Field, a professionally built collegiate softball venue, provides a rallying point for the student body to come together and cheer on the Lady Pioneers.
With each practice and game, the Lady Pioneers will be working to make their motto a reality -- “Building a Future, Leaving a Legacy.”
